The time has come for the first leg of The String Project’s autumn tour. Using the word tour is a little misleading as we’ll be taking breaks for regular life between gigs rather than piling on a bus and hopping from one venue to the next but we are still fitting in quite a few events over the next month.
Today we’re off to Gearfest, a smale scale festival taking place in South Wales. Apparently we’re on in the middle of some woodland so I hope the weather forecast lives up to its promise. It’s quite a long way to go but promises to be relaxed and a good way into things for the new term.
Next week, we’re at a pub in Bicester on Thursday and one in Hinksey, on the edge of Oxford, on Saturday. We’re then due to take in London and Witney later in the month – see the band’s gigs page for more details as they are added.
