I must get my pictures of the garden from mid-August published soon but it is already looking different out there. Jane and spent part of the afternoon doing various tidying up round the place and it looks better for it. It still looks, for the want of a better word, organic – we want to leave plenty of food and habitat for visiting fauna – but steps like mowing the lawn and moving a few pots around make a world of difference.
