Today I finished carving my fourth block and printed my first complete proof:

Can you see what it is yet? It is (and will remain) quite abstract but you might begin to guess that it represents chive flowers. The background is not a hill but different types of foliage, which might come out more clearly as I experiment with different printing techniques.
I still have two days to go and plenty of work to do but I am beginning to approach creating an interesting work of art.
