Photo shooting that is, with The String Project. We took a wander round the oddly named “The Kidneys”, a nature reserve alongside the Thames heading south out of Oxford. There should be some photos to show soon but, meanwhile, I’ll sleep well after lugging my double bass round on a long walk down narrow nettle-lined paths!

The bass stand, another thing to carry, made a good guard against painful encounters with the vegetation and the reward was a drink of American Pale Ale at the Chester Arms with the rest of the band.
