Henlle Hall

A large country mansion

Henlle Hall, Shropshire

This is Henlle Hall, near Gobowen1 in Shropshire, where Jane and I were staying last week. The apartment wasn’t in the main block but in the lower wing on the right of the building. We were in the “Coach House” building which, as described last week, was absolutely fantastic.

Although we spent most of our time venturing further afield from this base (more photos and doubtless more posts to come) you could have had a very pleasant holiday just pottering around the grounds and visiting the places within easy walking distance. I have started a new set of photos on Flickr with a few images I took on our post-arrival explorations.

1 I understand that pronunciation should be split as go-bowen and not the rougher sounding gob-owen!
