Today’s adventure was a ramble organised by the National Trust from their property of Chirk castle. We had expected an hour or so walking round some of the grounds. Fortunately we were planning a longer walk later as it turned out that we were dropped off with a group of about ten (many of them regulars) at Glen Ceirog and then led back over a route of about seven miles.
How much did this adventure cost? Not a bean but it goes a long way towards helping us get value for money from our annual subscription and making us both likely to rejoin next year and glad to sing the praises of the Trust.
