I couldn’t let today’s date go unmarked on my blog; it is the last time we will get such a simple pattern for some time to come (2/2/22 comes to mind). Stepping outside the UK standard of day, month and year, the US might encourage us to celebrate “Double Pi Day” on 3/14/14. Today though, bask in the warm glow of 12/12/12 (although, to be honest, if your weather is like what we are enjoying, you may also want to keep close to a radiator!).
