No, not me. It was the fact that I forgot to take my trusty briefcase containing my Bass Pod down to St Clement’s this morning. Consequently I was sending a signal direct to the board rather than processing it through my offboard pre-amp first. Fortunately my Sei bass is a quality instrument and it did not sound too shabby. I think I will try and remember the Pod again next time though — if nothing else, I like to be able to mute the signal and unplug the bass between sets of songs and also to be able to check my tuning inaudibly to anyone else.
