Am I alone in thinking that cold take away meals make great breakfasts? Today I am enjoying half a battered plaice and chips, brought together with the acidity of tomato ketchup and the flavour enhancing properties of the emulsified oils in a dollop of mayonnaise. I over-estimated our appetites last night, or under-estimated the portion size but, either way, nothing goes to waste.
