Yesterday was a bit of a road trip, with a 250 mile or so round-trip to attend a family wedding near Eastbourne. It was worth it though and, with some relatives having made a trip all the way across from Canada, 250 miles doesn’t really seem such a trek. It was good to see them again (for the first time in 30 years for some of them and just plain for the first time for some of the partners and children) as well as other branches of the family and we were blessed with the sun shining on us all day.

I’m going to try and do a bit more visiting of family before the iron goes too cold again after this gathering.
