Last night, I had my final rehearsal with the jazz band I am depping with before we provide dinner jazz for an event at Keble College on Saturday. Apparently the group calls itself Jazz Moves when a name is required; a quick search this morning confirms my suspicions that this is a widely used name, claimed by numerous bands all round the world.

Still, I am sure Saturday’s gig will be a sweet smelling rose, regardless of the nomenclature!
