This is what I was working on over the weekend: a bike shed made from various scrap materials. The ends are a couple of old pallets, I’ve got leftover wood and plastic from the polytunnel and a concrete lintel that was removed when we had our bathroom and toilet knocked together. On the top is a roof from a couple of bits of the wood effect laminate we had on the living room walls.
It is reasonably waterproof and reasonably sturdy but not quite finished yet. I want to use some old floor lining material to prevent the see through effect of the polythene and also to add a shallow box on top in which we can grow salad leaves. Still, at least it is usable, which means my bike is not longer cluttering up the polytunnel, giving more room for our plants.
