Humility was the theme of this evening’s service at church, which I was leaving. My particular chance to be reminded of it was when I started off the hymn “Just as I Am” and suddenly realised that I did not know the tune as well as I thought and that it has a lot more verses than I had noticed when I picked it.

I was very glad that I had friends helping me out with the music! I get plenty of reminders that I am a long way off flawless perfection.
