I have not been doing so well with keeping up on my favourite photo meme this year. It is already the start of October and this one, from June, is the next in the sequence.

It was hard to pick an image from June as Jane and I were in the throes of moving house and most of my camera time was taking shots for the sake of information rather than art. I don’t think this is a brilliant photograph but it does have a certain significance. It was the first thing we did in starting to make the gardens of the new place our own, a compost bin handbuilt from some old pallets.
