About three years ago, I posted a short series on the theme of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Today, I have spotted a fourth R to join them: Rot.

It is another stage before disposing of something and pretending it becomes someone else’s problem. All sorts of things can safely be left to rot down, producing a rich compost to improve garden soil, making this another step to consider.
