I popped down to London today to pick up my trusty Sei bass from The Gallery where I had left it in Martin Petersen’s capable hands. It needed a spot of repair where one of the coil tap switches had broken off last year; I don’t use them much but it was causing the bridge pick up to behave intermittently. Since I was getting that done, I also got him to add a passive bypass mode and check over the set up. I’m glad to have it back and have been doing some practise; it gets its first proper outing at church this Sunday morning.
I also managed to get the missing bit of plastic I needed for the B&Q shed I mentioned on Sunday so, all in all, a pretty successful day off.
