Yesterday lunchtime I wandered down to the Museum of the History of Science in Broad Street, where they are holding an exhibition of steampunk art. There were some fantastic examples of pseudo-victoriana imagined for the science of the modern age. Most impressive of all was to walk into the final room and realise that the artifacts there were genuine scientific tools from the 19th and early 20th Century. All in all, a very worthwhile display.
Meanwhile, off to work and then down to the Isis for tonight’s gig. There will be fireworks!
