Today marks two things. Firstly, it is the end of British Summer Time so that means I am bright an awake an hour earlier than I would otherwise have been and enjoying the feeling of running ahead of time! Secondly, it is the day for my first outing on the new blue electric guitar.

The extra time this morning will be useful to make sure I have everything I need and to turn up early to St Clement’s to set it up there. Guitar plays a very different role to bass but, since my friend Jez will be handling the low end very competently, I should have all the support I need to relax into playing guitarishly and not like a shrunk down bassist!

Anyway, I’m gloriously early and going to celebrate, as a sage once said, by shutting up and playing my guitar!
