It has been a busy week for me so far (hence no blog post yesterday) with plenty to write about, like the electric guitar I bought on Monday (and, perhaps, my demographic ramblings about giving away my old one). However, for today, I merely want to celebrate the fact that our two brown hens have now both laid their first eggs. With the nights drawing in, I had resigned myself to waiting until next spring for that event but they have given us a pleasant surprise.
