It has been a long time since I structured my Bible reading using a lectionary. This is a set of readings that are read across Anglican services. Since I’ve been getting involved with a couple of Anglican churches in Oxford I have been hearing the same passages a couple of times every Sunday. Boring? No – it gives an extra chance to reflect on the passages used.

After some searching, I found an online lectionary. I think I might use this during the rest of the week too, at least for the remainder of Lent – I am interested to discover whether there is a wider logical pattern to the system.
