I was planning to take a trip by the Oxford Tube this afternoon but it looks like I will be putting that pleasure off a little while longer as a friend has kindly offered to drive me instead (and hanging out with a friend trumps riding in a coach).

Things are moving on with preparations for my new job. I am going up to discuss my computing needs so that a shiny new machine can be waiting when I start. It will also be a chance to start meeting my colleagues-to-be (and to deal with some more paperwork without having to resort to the post).

To get there at a reasonable time necessitates getting into work bright and early so I can leave in good time for my journey so no more rambling today!
