I managed to process my recordings from the environmental fair gig yesterday. There is a distinct change in tone when the case I housed my Zoom H2 recorder in swung shut. You can hear it about 50 seconds before the end of To Whom It May Concern, which I have uploaded to my Mediafire account (an excellent free file-hosting service).

Lid up or down, the overall quality is quite acceptable for my needs (a record of which songs we played and a chance to pick back and see what I need to work on in my playing). Because I have to concentrate on playing, I have to guess a suitable recording level and then set the recorder running before we start. However, if I use the case again I might see if I can figure out a way of keeping it open though, even on a bouncy stage!
