Today is the day when Londoners get a chance to vote for their mayor. How many seize that opportunity remains to be seen but I think there are good reasons, not least the fact that there are some candidates with egregious policies who will be disproportionately represented if most of us can not be bothered to make time to cast a vote.
For those outside London, prayer that we don’t submit a vote for apathy (and, hopefully, make a good collective decision); for my fellow Londoners, get to that polling station before the day is out!
