Today is Shrove Tuesday, the last day before the season of Lent. Last year, I decided that my Lenten discipline would be getting more sleep. This year I considered a 40-day blogfast (celebrating the feast-days on Sundays with posting) but I think I will be bursting with too many things to write about.

However, I will aim to keep my posts short and sweet; I will be happy to miss a day here and there; I may even take a week or two off.

And I will be having pancakes tonight!
