Did I once hear it said that “snow news is good news”? Maybe not and I am certainly not sure Jane would agree (she called me from the station where, as we have come to expect, delays were piling up).

We have snow! At last, winter has arrived in London! As you can see, I seized the opportunity to take a few pictures; I don’t know whether this will set in for a while or be a slushy memory by evening.

I suspect it may last a few days so, later on, I plan to be reading up on taking photos in snowy conditions.
