Jane and I visited a friend last night and saw one of the episodes of the latest Doctor Who series. Having not been over-impressed with the previous series (although it had flashes of brilliance) I was bowled away by how far it seems to have come on. The last series was often quite entertaining but this episode (the 18th Century France / 51st Century spaceship one) was a tour de force and left me wanting to see more.
