I’ve had my confirmation back from Hostal Girasol, so that’s another piece of the puzzle put together. It’s only a short distance from the cathedral and all the part of town round there is old and picturesque, so I’m looking forward to my stay there. I’ve still got a few weeks to improve my spoken Spanish and, once there, I’ll also be able to rely on pointing, smiling and poring over phrasebooks, which is a little hard to do on the phone.

The next thing is to sort out bus tickets. ALSA, here I come!
