Here’s a shout to the good people on the Selfsufficientish forum. It’s a widespread online community of people who are each making their own small contribution to natural, sustainable lifestyles while recognising that being truly self sufficient is beyond what most of us can achieve while still playing a role in society.

Yesterday, one of the Australian forum moderators, Nev, was in town and so a few of us took the opportunity to meet up. It’s not quite my vision of the local blending of web-life and reality but I relish the opportunity to meet the people who have become friends through online sharing of ideas and interests.
